Dr Shau performed a hip replacement surgery on my mom and it was a success! His team and staff are very considerate, patient and caring-and so is he. My mom had minimal downtime and she doesn't even have a limp like she thought she would.
Dr. Shau took care of both of my hip replacements due to early degeneration because of hip dysplasia. He was very through and letting me know everything to expect. His Bedside manner is exceptional.
Dr. David Shau, Jared and staff were a complete joy to go on this journey of knee replacement with. Drs. shared the stages that I would experience as my knee healed. That was very important to me in knowing what to expect so I understood the time for total healing, to be patient and to do my Physical Therapy. One year later, when people ask me how my knee is doing I sincerely have to stop and recall having it replaced. It's was a homerun !
Dr Shau performed a TKR on my right knee in Oct 2024. He used a robotic-assisted procedure that a different surgeon who previously performed my left knee TKR did not use. Dr Shau’s skill and process resulted in a significantly more successful outcome with acceptable range of motion and no pain after surgery recovery. From the initial visit and assessment, Dr Shau had a very reassuring and warm manner, which instantly put me at ease. In addition, my husband was discussing my upcoming surgery to a co-worker, and another gentleman overheard and said Dr Shau was a miracle worker, and the reason his daughter is walking again! In my 55 years, I've never had care like this from a physician, both kind and professional, I can't say enough, absolutely the finest surgeon there is! Thank you, Dr Shau.
