This review is not about David Scott. Our family has trusted him for decades for our eye health and exams. This 1 star relates to the employees who order your lenses and glasses. My mom needed a change in prescription. She does not live in the area. They were to be mailed and a local business to put them in. At 5 weeks I called on April 1. The lady stated they were in,would be mailed and left me a message. Got home no message left. Red flag#1. Called again one week later. Dr. Scott is one of the best eye doctors I have ever met. This was my first visit to his office, and the examination was very thorough. Very professional and kind! I will be going to his office for my yearly exam in the future. Also special kudos to the front desk person, Sara, after the conversation for scheduling a followup appointment. Very friendly and took her time with me while making the appointment. Thanks!
I previously posted a great review a while back. I was surprised at some of the low ratings. Well, as the saying goes, "Time will tell"..... and so it has. If I could give zero stars I would. Here are the reasons for my new rating: 1. My glasses prescription was wrong. The way I was treated was inexcusable. 2. The billing is terrible. My partner has had several problems with inaccurate billing... not just me. Mistakes were made on my bill as well, and phone calls were not returned.
