He took my money. Charged me a 1600 fee, postponed my courtdates until he was paid in full, after he was paid in full he tried to tell me i needed to pay an additional $700+ plus anger management class and drug test ( it was a criminal mischief) charge, no drugs involved. Or pay him an additional $3,400 to take to trial and maybe win. When i started questioning Mr Scoggins about him telling me this was an "Open/Closed Case, due to lack of evidence" prior to me paying him in full, he didnt like that. Mr. Scoggins was very responsive and helpful. A person related to a member of my family was looking for a criminal attorney and they asked me to translate for them. He answered the phone on a Sunday and explained simple concepts regarding how a criminal booking procedure works. He used simple terms to explain what was going on. He stayed in touch and answered any questions until the person was booked. He didn't rush the conversation into a retainer (which is usually the case). Thank you Mr, Scoggins for your patience.
Be careful, at first he will tell you everything you want to hear. Then after hes paid, he does NOTHING for your case. Only makes excuses and says "Thats how the system works".
