After the retirement of Tim Adamson Dr Smith took over my spine management. His assessment was brief and thorough. He recommended fresh imaging to insure no changes were present and agreed that further evaluation and discussion was warranted prior to action to treat disc damage.
I am a nurse of 38 years experience in ER,Trauma and post surgical care. My back was disintegrating quickly. Dr. Jenkins recommended a very involved surgery. I have seen pretty awful work by other “ back” doctors in my career. Dr Jenkins gave me back my physical and emotional life. I am able now to go back to the gym, back working as a nurse and against all medical advice!!!… ride horses again- not on the level I used to, but doing what I love. My pain is basically resolved. I have limited flexibility, but I have learned how... read more
Dr Ditty was referred by a well known doctor in my community. Prior to my appointment I confirmed, in writing, with my insurance that he was in my network. After 10-12 calls to his office, being hung up on, twice on hold for 30 min while the staff confirmed they had received my MRI, then 'Oh sorry, I forgot about you. Now what's the name?' I finally got my appt. I showed up 30 min early, staff were terribly rude. Informed me that the doctor was actually not in my network. 40 min later she apologized and said doctor was in my... read more
He was very patient with explaining the situation. He told you the options that you have. All the questions hedid not mine answering them. Great bedside mannerisms.
Dr w is very thorough and listens well. He also explains everything.I really appreciate his care
Dr. Ditty performed my surgery on April 3, 2024. I had to have a laminotomy and medial facetectomy bilateral L4-L5 and LT L5-S1. I am now almost 4 weeks postoperative and am amazed with how much better I feel. He is an excellent neurosurgeon that I highly recommend . His staff is amazing and always answers and all questions.
I broke my back causing a T12 burst fracture and L1 compression fracture Dr Cahill and Leanne did a spinal fusion from T10 to L2 my whole left side from the day of surgery to this very moment 3 years later I am still in agonizing pain due to some kind of bone growth that they put inside of me it has done nothing but destroy my life on how we regret going to see Dr Cahill and Leanne my surgery was March 21st 2022.
I can’t thank Dr. Jones enough for taking the time with me to listen and always answer my questions with patience and empathy. He does not just brush me off, but rather finds something to offer relief for the pain which I experience. Fortunately, he does not often recommend pain medication, but offers other options and tries to avoid surgery if it all possible. He is one of the most skilled neurosurgeons in Greensboro and I am grateful to have him as my doctor.
The clarity of explanations provided, combined with a very pleasant demeanor.
