Dr. Hong is the only neurosurgeon that is an orthosurgeon as well. He performed detethering cord surgery on my daughter and it went very well and was successful with no complications. He has an orthosurgery surgery planned for her. He is the only doctor that can help her. I am very thankful to have him as a surgeon for my daughter. I really think he is the best neurosurgeon out there.
Dr. Hong and the neurosurgical team did an *excellent* job of my son's surgery: They explained every step of the procedure, provided excellent care and oversight of my son's operation, made him feel comfortable and looked after - excellent! - well done! (BUT! The process leading up to the surgery - scheduling a CAT-scan, in particular, was really difficult - hours waiting on hold, indifferent receptionists who are unwilling to help, lots of departments not synched up to other departments....)
