Top Notch Labor and Delivery I recently had a baby at Holy Cross hospital. Every room is a private suite. The security is top of the line, and the nurse that was with me thorugh my labor was amazing. She stayed with me from the time I was admitted til the time I went to my room. I had to have a C-section, but not for lack of trying. She was patient and kind, and didn't treat me like I was a number, but a person. My only complaint was that the nurses didn't seem to know what my pain meds should be. Great Maternity section I delivered at Holy Cross. The private room was great. My husband was able to stay the entire time with me. The meal service is also very nice as far as hospital food goes. You can order your meal for what time is convienant for you. The nurses were all great. The y were very helpful. I would highly recommend this hospital to anyone.
Labor and Delivery Nightmare I have a baby at Holly Cross Hospital, Silver Spring MD 10/26/2008, It was horrible, I had a c-section the Anesthesiologist put my spinal block in the wrong place and guess what, I was not numb when the doctor cut me to take my baby out. It made his feeling of illness almost dissipate and allowed him to focus more on being a child, instead of being a sick child. The staff was excellent and did not treat him as just a number or another patient for the night. We were out with a few hours with clear ... read more
