My family had a wonderful experience with Dr. Ragonesi as he cared for my daughter for many, many years as well as other members of our extended family.
It seems that Dr. Ragonesi is committed to following the trend of whatever is popular at the time, whether it has been thoroughly studied yet or not. Not very willing to bend from standard protocol based on a child's specific needs. Will recommend something one month and advise against it another month; seemingly inconsistent. At my son's 6 month appointment, he was unaware which brand of vaccine his practice uses. Had to ask the nurse. I like his family and lifestyle values though.
There were multiple times where I felt that he made uninformed decisions that negatively affected my child's health. I feel that he over prescribes medications that are not necessary and often prescribes riskier medications without caution. I also found him to be too quick to discredit the experience of the parent. I'm not a doctor but am an informed and educated parent. When raising my concerns, he was unable to explain WHY he was making such decisions, often trying to guilt me for questioning.
