I have been a patient of Dr. Silvers for over 12 years! He is kind, compassionate and his bedside manners are wonderful. I would recommend him highly for anyone looking for a GI doctor.
Our Gastroenterology Dr retired. My husband was due for his procedure and used Dr Silvers. We where very impressed with Dr Silvers and staff. Also how easy it all went from making appointment to actual procedure. So when it was my turn l knew it would be Dr Silvers. We where very pleased again! Dr Silvers highly recommended by both of us.
He answered all my questions to my satisfaction and made me feel comfortable on what to do going forward. I felt like he was very knowledgeable and thorough in his explanations and didn’t make me feel like he was rushing out of the room.
Dr Carriere never introduced himself. Typed in the computer. Never told me anything in depth of what’s going on. Spent LESS THAN 5 minutes with me. I will never see him again. Furthermore, after a week, I contacted Suzanne, the only person that verifies insurance. I got the procedure code and diagnosis codes and called United Health Myself!! Dr Carriere is one of the most kind, and caring Dr. He takes his time, listens to your problem. And gets the problem taken care of. He is the Best. And I would highly recommend him.
Though this is obviously a large & busy practice, EVERYONE was so nice & patient & made me feel like I was their only patient. Dr. Carriere was very informative and patient. After he left the room I realized that I'd forgotten to ask a question. When he came back in he answered my question & took time to be sure that I understood.

I had a excellent experience with Dr Silvers, he’s been my gastro Dr for 35 yrs. I would highly recommend him for any of your gastro issues.. I live in Baton Rouge so I have quite a distance to travel to see Dr Silvers, but it’s well worth the trip..
