Rain always left the courtyard dotted with standing water, which was a mess. David Paving started by adjusting the grading, then moved on to pouring new broom-finished concrete with curved scoring that reshaped the entire look. Eric explained how they planned the slopes so everything would drain into a single point. I liked how they used wide joints to break up the slab and added expansion cuts in all the right places.

Replaced the old cracked asphalt with a wider layout for easier access and accommodated an extra car. They did the excavation, base work, and regrading before paving. Every tool and equipment was pro-grade; they even took care of the permit challenges for me.

We built a built-in grill and wanted a stone base that wouldn’t shift or stain. David Paving suggested a stacked-stone look and handled the full install. John and Mark built a concrete footing first, then placed each stone by hand. It wraps around the grill and doubles as a low seating wall on one side. They sealed everything to make cleaning easier. It doesn’t look out of place like some prefabs do. It’s part of the space now. I appreciated their attention to the more minor cuts and edges.

After years of dealing with a steep, uneven side yard, I brought in David Paving to build proper stone masonry steps and level the path. They mapped the slope, laid out where each riser should go, and used thick-cut stone. They also reinforced behind the stones to ensure it would last through weather shifts and ensured the layout worked and water would drain properly. It used to be a dead space, but now it’s the main walkway to the backyard. Thank you!

Eric and Dan helped us fix a mess from another contractor. They came in, removed poorly installed pavers, and redid the driveway and pathways from scratch. Then, they relaid new interlocking pavers with edge restraints and better compaction. They also added drainage to avoid pooling near the garage. It was a tough fix, but they took the time to do it right. Very thankful for the care they took!
