This is an update to a previous review. There was a delay in the promised original delivery of the appraisal, but in response to our inquiries, Parsons attempted to call our USA Cell number, which was not responding. He also sent an email which explained he was waiting for additional information to make a complete and thorough report. We appreciated the email response and are content to wait for the report. Look: we know appraisers are super busy these days, but that doesn't mean they get do be unprofessional. David just straight up fabricates excuses. Promised to have a report by Aug 11. Then at the latest by Aug 16, 5pm. Then Aug 17... you get the pattern. Finally got it... Aug 24. Read his reviews here or on Angi (contracting website): he delays and delays, but beyond that— he does not communicate about it. Parson's dumped their malpractice insurance. They sent an inexperienced appraiser to my property. She made a $150,000 error. The property was landlocked!!! I had no recourse. Shame on them!!!

Called to schedule an appraisal because he had previously done the appraisal on our property. I was told he was busy, but should be able to book in a couple of months. Waited two months, heard nothing, called back. Was told that they hadn't told me they could do it in two months, just that I should call back in two months (not true). Then was told an email would be sent to the appraiser to ask about scheduling. Never heard back. Called back several days later, was told they didn't have the time to take on the project. Worst experience. Had our home appraised at the beginning of November 2016. 6 weeks later we are still waiting on a final report. My husband and I have called several times to find they delay. They seemed unconcerned that the report is still unfinished. They do not seem to understand they are THE ONLY THING keeping us from closing on our home refinance. Buyer be ware, do not use this company.
