I saw Dr Holtz for a tumor on my left ovary. Dr Holtz’ recommendation was to have my ovary removed. I was really nervous because I’m only 34 and extremely active in power lifting and working out. The day of my surgery Dr Holtz had told me he did a lot of thinking about my situation and was able to help me in a way that would not disrupt my physical activity or cause pain while lifting. I was diagnosed with endometrial cancer in May and was referred to Dr Holtz by my Obgyn. I had a very thorough exam with Dr Holtz a week later where he answered a lot of questions and made me feel confident about my impending laparoscopic hysterectomy. I had no idea what to expect in terms of recovery, but I felt great, had no pain and was back to work in two days. I am writing about my recent experience with Dr.DavidHoltz at a Main Line Health hospital, where I had surgery followed by an 8-day hospital stay. As much as I would like to free my mind from the traumatic experience with Dr. Holtz, I feel it is my responsibility to warnfuture women who might find themselves in his hands. I had a very large ovary cyst with 'cancer characteristics' that was terribly scary for me and my family, which thankfully Dr Holtz removed this laproscopically with such grace and professionalism. Fortunately the cyst was benign. The entire process from the first meeting to surgery to the follow up appointment couldn't of run smoother. My family and I are eternally grateful.

At 30 yrs old and 3 days after having my daughter I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. I was referred to Dr Holtz. When I first met him I was scared and in denial about my cancer . He reassured me the process and all the s steps and was able to make me feel at ease with the entire situation. I’ve been seeing Dr. Holtz for at least 15 years. He has always treated me with respect, answered all of my questions, and made it easy for me to tell him what was bothering me -and gave me options for treatment when possible. He-and his wonderful staff are courteous, kind , patient and understanding. They continue to walk me through all of my cancer experiences with quiet assurance and steadfast positivity. From start to finish Dr Holtz provides compassionate care making a stressful time a little easier. I can not thank him enough for this. He is a very skilled surgeon and took time to quickly and personally contact me with schedule changes and results-easing the anxiety of waiting. I Highly recommend This physician. Of note while I was in his office Dr Holtz must have received a message from a physician asking him to see a patient ASAP. Dr. Holtz was arrogant and rude. Without a doubt the most uncaring doctor I’ve ever encountered. I’ve noticed there are many others with the same opinion. There are far too many good doctors out there to subject yourself to his condescending attitude. I would recommend going elsewhere.
