Dr. Matusz is a great surgeon but is overly interested in "new" things. From my experience with Dr. Matusz, I have learned that "new" means untested. I broke a vertebrae at 28, had a fusion to repair it and was prescribed a bone stimulator belt - Dr. Matusz encouraged me to use the device every day. I went from, "an amazing bounce back" to limited walking mobility in 6 months. I kept coming in saying I was in MORE pain every day. Dr. Matusz took an xray each visit. Dr Matusz is an excellent surgeon. He explained everything throughly and made sure I felt comfortable before surgery. I could not bend over to tie my shoe, swing a golf club & sometimes I had trouble getting out of my car. I’m extremely grateful for Dr Matusz. My quality of life at 45 is back to normal.
