I have been treated by Dr McMahon for several years. He is kind, caring, and knows what he is doing. He explains the “whys” behind what he prescribes. I trust him implicitly. I completely disagree with the one star review left by another patient. He gives medication when it is needed. Always.
He is very caring and intelligent. He knows WHY he is doing something.
I don't agree at all with the negative review left about Dr. McMahon. He is my current doc and came highly recommended from a trusted source. You're crying that he is lowering/taking away your meds.. Hmmm you are a patient at a psych clinic right annnd he is a doctor and all, you're right though. You should handle your own meds. You obviously know way more about your condition than any dr. Can you cancel your upcoming appts, so the rest of us can have your slot. Thanks! FYI. This dr is great!
Tries to get you on as little medication as possible even if you need the medication. Cuts depression medications in half without notice. Lacks on keeping up with bloodwork. Does not call things in within an appropriate amount of time. Puts on a happy to treat you front but then does not help. Just wants to see what he can get you off of, or condense you to a different medication even if you're doing fine on what you've been taking. Doesn't remember the common side effects of patients.
