He did my vasectomy perfectly; I could tell instantly that he has done many of them, I would not be surprised if he could do the procedure blindfolded-Excellent physician.

Sat in the waiting room for 45 minutes. Dr. Rudnick finally shows up. He explains the procedure in under 5 minutes. 2 weeks later a $575 bill shows up! I called the office and was told, "call the billing department" (UCSF Physicians Group) and "we don't handle that." I called/spoke with the"billing department". He asked if I had insurance coverage because nothing was showing on his end. I said, "Yes, I provided that information while I was there", which I did. He ultimately took down m

2 office staff = rude! They also gave me wrong info about ins coverage. His fees = not reasonable / customary. He's rushed. He bad-mouthed another urologist, even tho it was one of his teachers/mentors @UCSF. He was rough w/ me, causing me great pain. He left me laying on the table after unsuccessful attempt to remove a urinary stent, forever. He used a "flexible" scope. Two other urologists said "No wonder" he couldn't remove my stent and had put me thru torture. They both use "rigid" scopes.

I was recently treated early on a Saturday morning for kidney stones at the MGH ER, which referred me to Dr. Rudnick. I was able to schedule an appointment the following Tuesday, and Dr. Rudnick performed lithotripsy the next day. Prior to and following the treatment, he explained the procedure, available options, outcomes and side effects to my satisfaction. He followed up personally to answer some post-procedure questions. Very highly recommended.
