I had total left hip replacement, great results , Doctor went above and beyond to make sure it was a successful surgery , from before the surgery and after.
I give Dr Woodbury and his team 5 stars. Dr Woodbury is very kind and knowledgeable. My experience was good. Missed only 2 weeks of work. It was tough! I drove after 3 weeks. I used a walker first 2 weeks and cane for 6 weeks. At 12 weeks we went on a cruise and Disney for one day I walked 18 thousand plus steps with no issues to my knee. My surgery was March 16, 2023. I waited >1 hour in the waiting room before being called back. Dr. Woodbury was apparently training a new NP and didn’t allocate sufficient time for that. The person who checked in for Dr. Woodbury just ahead of me gave up and left in disgust. If I hadn’t driven 1.5 hours to get there I would have done the same. I was finally seen by Dr. Woodbury about 90 minutes past my arrival time. In early March I visited my primary care physician, Dr. Alisa Davis with The Longstreet Clinic, regarding some ankle pain and swelling that I was experiencing. Dr. Davis immediately ordered X-rays followed by an MRI. After which I was referred to Dr. David Woodbury with The Longstreet Clinic's Orthopedic department. Dr. Woodbury was very thorough in explaining my injury and what his thoughts were on the best way to proceed which would include surgery. Dr. Woodbury replaced my left knee and right knee. He answered all my questions and concerns with the utmost care. I highly recommend him for all of your orthopedic needs.
I had 2 appointments-one a new patient visit and a follow up visit. The new patient visit went well. He prescribed occupational therapy for my left hand. On the follow up, he never re-checked anything and simply told me I had arthritis. When I asked a question, he laughed at me then said no,that did not cause your arthritis.
