Waited until 1 hour before my appointment to tell me I had a balance and they were canceling my appointment, never once tried to contact me to tell me I had a bill, which I would have paid immediately had I known. I work full time and am a full time student, I had to take the day off for an appointment, they waited 6 months to tell me I had a balance and then did not care. Dentist - 5 stars Hygienist - 5 stars Billing Staff - 1 star Before going in for a cleaning, I confirmed with BlueCross that Dr Lovit was in my insurance network. I also called BlueCross to confirm that my policy covered preventive care 100%. I called Dr Lovit's office prior to my appointment to confirm that my insurance would cover my appt. Before going in for a cleaning, I confirmed with BlueCross that Dr Lovit was in my insurance network. I also called BlueCross to confirm what my policy already stated, which is that my maximum out of pocket cost for a cleaning would be $25. I called Dr Lovit's office prior to my appointment to confirm that there would be no issue with my insurance and that the cleaning would be covered.
