I was initially diagnosed by my dentist as needing a root canal. Dr. Opp conducted a thorough examination and eventually concluded that I in fact did not need a root canal. She found that in fact there was an ulcer on my jawbone below the molar that had been the suspected source of my pain. She determined that the ulcer was caused either by a food particle that had been imbedded in the bone, or perhaps a portion of the jawbone that needed work (in which case I will need to see a periodontist). On Monday, September 16, 2024, I had complex root canal done by wonderful & skillful Endodontist David Keating.He had explained the procedures easy to understand and very patient with my repeated and some silly questions. I felt very comfortable & confident the whole time. Also he was very humble & awesome.Plus his staff (Kailey (sorry if I misspelled your name, but next time I will do correctly), Nichol, and Sam)) were very nice and kind. Thank you Dr. Keating and staff. From the moment I walked into the office until the procedure was done, everything was handled with professionalism and efficiency. A very caring dental office. I highly recommend Dr. Keating for any root canal procedure.

I was referred to this guy by another dentist, just before the appointment I discover he will be charging a $340 copay for a consultation, plus an additional $160 if an x-ray is needed. That's not including the part they were going to bill my insurance. FOR A CONSULTATION!!!!!!!

I get freaked out about ANYTHING dental! The staff, but especially Dr. OPP made a 3 hour root canal bearable and almost comfortable. She gave me the time to let the nitrous relax me, so I could proceed with the procedure. This is rare these days. She was very aware of my feelings and fear. This meant the world to me. I so wish she could be my regular denist!! From scheduling to getting it done everyone was just so nice also professional. Excellent Endodontist. I went in dreading what was to be my first root canal. I didn't realize how detailed the work is, but Dr. Opp and her assistant worked extremely well together. While it took a while, that's understandable given the required precision. Dr. Opp was thorough and accurate, and the result is outstanding.
