Dr. German actually spent time with me going over every aspect of my Echo. He explained it in a way that I understood. His active listening skills put me at ease by telling me he genuinely cared about my questions and concerns. He explained the follow up care very completely which left me assured that my care is in the right hands.
Dr. German is thorough and very attentive. He took the time to answer all my questions. He clearly explained the plan I need to follow in the future. I found him to be helpful and caring.
Dr. German was kind and thoughtful in evaluating my heart disease. He explained my options and answered all my questions. I was referred to OHSU's heart valve team and had surgery. I'm now feeling much better and have returned to my usual active life. Many thanks to the OHSU cardio team. Linda
David German told me it was all in my head and I should look into the mental aspect of things when I came to his office scared desperate and with a lot of information surrounding the symptoms I was having. One of them was rapid heart. I left his office absolutely defeated and feeling uncared for. It’s now 1.5 years later and a Mexican doctor has just discovered I have a blood infection. Imagine that.
