I had, what I thought was, sudden loss of vision. I called this office in panic and was worked into the day's schedule to be seen. As it turns out, my contact lens had dislodged off center, and rolled up above my eye. I was well taken care of, and will be receiving all of my eyecare from here going forward. Ray is Great, thank you!
I had scratched my eye, and was in severe pain. This office was able to see me same day, as I was an urgent visit. I did have a little wait, but I was seen by a great ophthalmologist and office team. I am thankful to be taken care of so proficiently and professionally
I had some weird issues with my eye problems that my usual optometrist could not help me with. I made an appt with Chapel Hill Ophthalmology and had the most thorough eye exam I had ever had. They were able to identify the issues and I was quite relieved. Everyone was helpful and nice. They were really busy but things seemed to move along at a reasonable pace. I saw Dr. Wood, who was great, explaining what he was doing as he went along. Highly recommend you want more than just a “which is better” type exam.
I happened found out that review is only three stars. I was wondering why. My family has been here for several years. It is pretty good before. Then I made a phone call to schedule an appointment. The front desk service is terrible. Now I know why the review is three stars.
My otherwise absolutely delightful but too long recent visit to Dr. Wood for a routine annual eye exam was completely ruined by a rude, insolent front desk person during check out who showed me no respect whatsoever. When I asked her for the breakdown of the charges on my account as I was checking out, she behaved as though the people behind me were more important and that we needed to hurry the process along, almost as though she did not have time for me.
