4 years ago I had reverse shoulder replacement surgery and recently my shoulder began hurting. Due to insurance I was not able to see the surgeon who did the surgery...I was crushed...UNTIL I found Dr. Nigen...I wanted a dr who was familiar with the surgery I had and of course one that took my insurance...and I was so fortunate to find one man who did both...After seeing Dr. Nigen I felt so relieved...I know that I will go back to him for my yearly follow-ups. he made such a difference in my mental attituded about finding a ... read more

I was very lucky to have Dr Nigen as my surgeon for a total shoulder replacement surgery, He is an amazing doctor, very skilled, very smart, A great communicator and the absolutely the best at what he does, I had a check up with him today three months after my surgery and everything is looking really good. I have been treated with the upmost of care by his staff and the staff at the hospital where my surgery was done.
