Was a great practice but has gone corporate and he has gone from a 5 star to a no star.. Complete change in the way they do prescriptions that is shameful they force you to do 30 day scripts on meds they had prescribed for 13 years before they went CORPORATE. Just to force you into unneeded office visits WE made a 3 hour drive yesterday for our yearly exam and scrip refills just to get a 30 day supply of Tamazapam sleep meds. I’m very disappointed about the new calling setup from the praxis for appointments, you will be guided to an different Assistent who takes your infos and than it will be send to the doctors praxis, im waiting since 2 days for a call back but nothing.. you no longer can reach the office, what if people are in pain and need help ???
I have been a patient of this office since 2002. Recently I wanted to have a follow up visit by telemedicine since I moved out of the area. I was blown off ON THE DAY OF MY APPOINTMENT. The explanation was that since they merged with MyCare I would have to be seen in person. Who does that to someone they have treated for so long??? Very disappointed to say the least.. MY regular PA has left their practice recently. I really miss her and now feel like I have been abandoned.
It was my aunt first visit at the office, She's 78 with really bad arthritis and with dementia. Dr Lipirace come in and introduced himself,but he didn't perform not even a small physical exam on her. To me the visit was a waste of time. I felt like this appointment should been a zoom video call. She told me she does not want to return back in January. My aunt does have dementia, her memory is not all the way gone. The only reason why she came to Dr Liporace is because her previous PCP was dropped by her insurance. Just that ... read more
If I could zero stars I would. If you want a Dr that will up and drop you for being “cash paying” with no notice, then this is the place for you! I was initially recommended to go to Dr Liporace from his wife while I was seeing her as my therapist. I have been seeing him every month for almost 5 years. I moved from FL to Chicago over 2 years ago and still continued to see me as a cash paying patient. Appointments are always on-time. Gives me the time I need. Suggests tests and Drs. that I should see and tests that are needed.
Very professional hard working smiling caring staff. Dr. Liporace listens. He really does. Only down side is the ladies are so busy when they put you on hold they forget you perhaps accidentally. ??
