I have known Dr Kaufman for 20 years. He cares passionately for his patients and his students. He practices in one of the most challenging areas of medicine (Neuro-Ophthalmology) and does it well. He has been an inspiration to thousands of physicians over the years. Always challenging us to do what is best for our patients. I’ am actually overwhelmed with the kindness and knowledge of Dr. Kaufman and his entire staff. Highly recommend
Unfortunately, Kaufman's colleague's defense is laughable except for making light of Nassar. I recommend reading on resident Michael Phinn's sentencing in The State News regarding supervisor reactions. I personally have had Kaufman ignore malfeasance reports. He could easily have stopped traumatic abuse on multiple occasions but as far as I'm aware did nothing and others had to intervene.
