Best psychiatrist ever!
Dr. Kan does not take insurance, he does not employ an LMFT, and there is no religious orientation in his practice. Dr. Kan is prompt in returning calls and never experienced any delays in prescriptions being filled. The negative reviews referenced incorrect aspects of Dr. Kan's practice so I decided to post this. I have been dealing with Dr. Kan's office for 6 years and have not had any issues. He is professional and scientific in his approach. I had no appointment and went to the zoom waiting room and the woman who answered was super nice and genuinely seemed to care when I told her I was going to be without my maintenance meds in a few days. She really went out of her way to help get me in as soon as possible. I was able to get an appointment a few days later and a prescreen that day. After spending months to convince a family member to seek professional help they finally agreed to see Dr. Kan. They reached out to Dr. Kan with no call back. I called Dr. Kan afterwards and receieved a call back where he told me he had not had time to call my family member back. Now I fear we have missed the opportunity to save this person. You shouldn't just ignore people who are reaching out for help.
