He was very attentive. Called me the evening of surgery to ask if I was having any problems.

Got double billed for a pathology test. Never told that I could be incurring charges for these tests upon initial consultation. Have gone to previous dermatologists and never been charged for pathology. My insurance won't pay for it so now I have 2 bills for over $500. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS DERMATOLOGIST! BEWARE GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING!!!!! I give them a zero for trustworthiness

Business response:

Dear Linda, I am truly sorry for your experience, and I understand the frustration with your laboratory pathology bill. We have firsthand knowledge on how difficult insurance companies can be and would appreciate it if you could give our office a call so we could learn more about your particular situation and work together to resolve this incident as efficiently and effectively as possible. Thank you and we look forward to hearing from you at your earliest convenience. Sincerely, Dr. Casper

My biopsy specimen was lost or misplaced and Dr Casper wasn't aware of it until after several of my inquiries over a period of four months. He reportedly sent a remaining piece of tissue to the lab and it turned out to be cancer. Incidentally, he wasn't going to initially biopsy this site and only did so at my request.

Business response:

Dear Dorothy, I am truly sorry for your experience and want you to know if there is anything I can personally do to make this better I will. Since the time we spoke on the phone, we have taken several safety measures to ensure this type of incident does not happen again. I have the letter you wrote me posted above my computer desk so that every day I can remind myself to always learn from my mistakes and continue to do a better job serving my patients in this community. Sincerely, Dr. Casper

I went to Dr Casper to resolve an acne issue and his treatment actually worked! After having visited several dermatologists with no resolve, it was great to find a Dr. that listens and treats with such good results!
