referred to get cleared for orbera, a non surgical bariatric balloon. i was never there before, very nervous, staff were cold and the doctor put that i was belligerent in my chart after i cried when he didn't clear me. I was respectful, asking for the reason to understand what I should do in order to eventually get the box checked.. but it was like talking to a wall. i felt like garbage after this encounter because no one listened. and what a slap in the face for human despair to be written off as aggressive.
Had my first appt with Dr. JACOBOFF recently. Very positive experience. Doc is very knowledgeable and took the time to inform and explain conditions, tests, treatment options, and medications recommended. He seems very caring and compassionate.
