I like his personality. Unfortunately, I wasted months trying to resolve kidney issues, timing made longer b/c he was on holiday or had an emergency and had to change my appts. I am now being seen by a nephrologist at USF who is simply more experienced. When Widmyer had to cancel an appt, I saw his partner, Dr. Cho. She was equally nice but not so interested in figuring out what was wrong with me. Perhaps the office profits most if you go on dialysis or need a transplant.
I love Doc Widmyer. As a bladder cancer survivor with a kidney issue he always is great when I see him. I discuss issues with him and his assistant is wonderful. I’ve never had an issue with appointments and have been seeing him regularly.
Dr. Widmyer did a great job on my appointment this morning. Not sure what the previous review was as him being late. He was actually early in seeing me this morning. Took his time and explained everything in detail and his nurse Patty was also great. Would recommend.
Dr. Widmyer is never on time! Having to wait 1-1.5 hours just to see him. On top of that treats in a rude manner as if it’s your fault that he’s late. Would NOT recommend!!! If you value your time look for another doc!
Dr. Widmyer is highly competent, listens, speaks novice, follows through, and is genuinely concerned about his patients. Great sense of humor, too.
