I recently had a procedure on varicose veins. He charged the insurance thousands of dollars. I could say that my leg is worst that before procedure. I have a lot of bruising and discomforts on my leg. I don't recommend him.
Horrible experience. First he cancelled my appointment 3 x's. First time on the day v=before the appointment, 2nd time on the day of the appointment, 3rd time he didn't bother to even call me. I showed up at the office and was told the appointment was cancelled. Went in for a simple Cather removal. He did the surgery and told me all was removed. 6 months later I went to the hospital with severe stomach pains, and the MRI showed about 1/2" piece of the Cather left in my stomach, Went to a different surgeon to have that remove... read more
Fantastic professional team, made me comfortable and confident right up to and through surgery.
The only thing I could suggest is letting him know I had Fibromyalgia and should have novacain prior. This was extremely painful for me!
Terrible experience. One of the worst decisions I've made. I've heard awful stories from other patients too. My problem was not fixed, I left with huge co-payment, same problem and fumbling excuses for why the procedure didn't work. Save yourself! Go elsewhere.
Stay away!He made a mistake during my colon surgery and cut my ureter. He never found the problem. As a result I urinated in my body for over 3 weeks. The problem was only diagnosed when I was transferred from Anna Jacques Hospital to Beth Israel-Boston..In addition to his horrible mistake I suffered with a blood clot (PE) in my lung. His incompetence ultimately led to a year in recovery and an ongoing fear that a PE may reappear.
Mistreated and misdiagnosed me for months. Wasn't until I got a second opinion that I was told my true diagnosis which was so severe I could've lost my leg. May be great at some things but needs to learn to think outside the box and explore all possibilities.
Doctor Sweirzewski was very patient and professional in every way, took the time to explain every detail of the surgery to me, using diagrams and test results. No question was unanswered. Before and after the surgery he explained things clearly to me. He monitored my pain level and kept me properly medicated. He was cautious about what food to allow me both before and after the intestinal surgery, and our post- op visit answered all my recovery questions. I recommend this doctor to others.
