My son has progressive keratoconus, and we followed Dr. Sackel’s recommendation to wait for the new epi-on cross-linking procedure to become available. During the months of waiting, my son’s left eye vision got significantly worse, and his right eye also continued to decline. Dr. Sackel performed my eye surgery. He and his staff were excellent. Dr. Sackel was personable and professional. He explained every detail of the process. Dr. Sackel along with his staff insured I was comfortable and understood every step of the process. I highly recommenced Dr. Sackel.

Had an initial cataract consult recently. Thomas Eye Group is a real assembly line operation. Never saw so many people in a doctor's waiting area (there are numerous physicians in this office.) Seems pretty efficient if a bit lacking in the personal touch. Dr. Sackel himself seemed extremely rushed. I wasn't even able to ask all the questions I had before he ran out of the exam room.
