I had gone to Dr. Novak for a couple of years after relocating to the area. I stopped making appointments at his practice after feeling as though I was being told I needed work done but not being shown any x-rays or pictures that were taken. Now I am going to a new dentist after experiencing some pain and was told that a filling, done by Dr. Novak, was too close to the nerve and that was causing my pain. I have been a patient of Dr. David J. Novak for over 9 years. I have always enjoyed coming to his office up until a series of events. I was very hurt and disheartened at how my dental emergency was handled. I came to him on March 24, 2025 just for a cleaning and was informed that I had 2 fillings that needed to be filled. I returned on April 10th to have the fillings completed. By April 24th I returned in excruciating pain. I even told Dr. Novak that my mouth was throbbing. Highly disappointed in my communication with this office. I called in reference to a broken tooth that was causing me severe pain, as their website and Google listing clearly states emergency services, they inform me that the earliest they could see a non-patient would be June. I also asked for recommendation of where I could go in the meantime and they had no information for me. As far as their services or actions in office, I can't speak of that as I never made it in.

I’ve been a patient for several years and have generally had a pleasant experience with the staff. However, during my appointment on 4/16 at 3 PM (which I have proof of), I encountered unprofessional behavior that was disappointing.
