I have never given anything but 5-star reviews, until now. But this business deserves ZERO stars. We had a horrible experience with David Ewan, and his reviews show we’re not the only ones. We were with our previous CPA, Tracy Larabee, for over 30 years, and never had an issue. With Tracy, we usually received our completed return in March, and were charged a reasonable fee. Not even worth one star! David Ewan took over the firm of the now retired CPA we used for decades. We submitted all of our documents and information by the deadline David Ewan gave us for preparing our 2025 tax return. We heard nothing from him after that. I started calling his office daily when April 1 rolled around. Nothing. No return calls. Taxes not ready. By April 15, I was concerned and filed an extension. Back taxes I met with David to discuss an issue in trying to get fixed with back taxes. It was a good meeting so I went with him. He told me up front he was going out of country for a cpl weeks. I got him everything he needed before he left. Gone 2 weeks went to 3. EVERY conversation for the next 4 weeks, I had to call. Had my taxes done By David for 2024. He had bought out my previous CPA business so I just decided to go with it. WHAT A MISTAKE!!! 2 weeks after taking over their server got hacked and A false electronic return was filed with the IRS!!! When I was told about it I thought it was my fault and David let me believe it!!! But how could it be my fault? They had all the info for me and my family.
