Not even worth one star! David Ewan took over the firm of the now retired CPA we used for decades. We submitted all of our documents and information by the deadline David Ewan gave us for preparing our 2025 tax return. We heard nothing from him after that. Back taxes I met with David to discuss an issue in trying to get fixed with back taxes. It was a good meeting so I went with him. He told me up front he was going out of country for a cpl weeks. I got him everything he needed before he left. Gone 2 weeks went to 3. EVERY conversation for the next 4 weeks, I had to call. Had my taxes done By David for 2024. He had bought out my previous CPA business so I just decided to go with it. WHAT A MISTAKE!!! 2 weeks after taking over their server got hacked and A false electronic return was filed with the IRS!!! When I was told about it I thought it was my fault and David let me believe it!!! But how could it be my fault? They had all the info for me and my family. Four years ago, I moved to the Knoxville area and purchased a group of apartments. I needed advice on how to set up my business (LLC vs Corporation), and how to plan for taxes.
