Four years ago, I moved to the Knoxville area and purchased a group of apartments. I needed advice on how to set up my business (LLC vs Corporation), and how to plan for taxes. I have been having David Ewan prepare our personal and business taxes for the last 17 years. He has saved us a small fortune in taxes that would have otherwise been overpaid, or deductions that we would have missed. He is one of the most professional and courteous people I have ever met, and I have never had anything but good service from him. I know that having your taxes prepared by a professional costs more than H&R Block, but in my opinion it is worth every penny in the long run.

This is the most unprofessional business owner I have dealt with in all my time in Knoxville. He misquoted me by a whopping $400 dollars when he did my taxes. When I asked about the invoice be had sent me, he was completely dismissive, rude, and, no pun intended, displayed no sense of empathy or accountability. My advice to anyone would be too avoid him at all costs.
