The registration staff, the MA that roomed me, and the xray ladies were all very friendly - able to answer any questions I had and treated me respectfully. I do not feel the specialist, Dr. Blancho focused on or allowed me to vocalize my concerns or experiences regarding my injury or my request for a second opinion. Great bedside manner. Took time to explain everything in detail and spent time answering all of my questions. He did surgery on my ankle and am happy with the results.
Dr. Blancho has performed three surgeries on the same foot. The first was three years ago, and it has healed very well with minimal pain. I am currently 7 weeks post-op following a dual surgery on the same foot. My pain is very minimal, and it is healing quite well. He has performed surgery on 4 other people I know, all of which would recommend him again in a heartbeat. I trust him completely with my feet, I never thought I would walk normal before that first surgery.
He is a patient man, and very attentive.
He doesn't seem to listen or take the time to really treat his patients. He dismissed my concerns. Supposedly refer me to physical therapy but never received a call that was two weeks ago. I wasn't happy with the way he diagnosed me. Claimed my alignment in my feet were fine. I made an appointment with a actual foot doctor.Dr Blancho said i had plantar fasciitis but i learned im actually suffering from Achilles tendinitis. This diagnosis came from my new foot doctor.
