A good listener, shows personal concern for your health issues. Soft spoken, not an alarmist, just states the actual facts of the situation. Previous surgery in 2014 saved my life.

Dr. Gelber has provided excellent surgical care. My first cancer surgery was in 2009. My outcome was good and maybe that is why my regard for Dr. Gelber's professionalism and surgical expertise was so high. At any rate, I was once again diagnosed with cancer in 2018. A new primary invasive cancer in my right breast. When asked if I knew a surgeon, my first thought was of my wonderful care from Dr. Gelber. He has not lost his charm. Surgery October 4 and all went well. Highly recommend.
Have had some medical issues in the past year and Dr. Gelber and staff have been very helpful and compassionate during my surgeries. Always sharing the procedures with detail and confidence. Would recommend him for all your surgical procedures. Great Doctor.

Dr. Gelber has a relaxed yet confident manner which help me feel relaxed and confident. Two days post hernia surgery I feel great with minimal discomfort. Would I recommend Dr. Gelber? Of course.
Went in for an inguinal hernia repair and Dr. Gelber did a great job of making me feel like it was no big deal. He doesn't waste a lot of time on small talk but gets right to the issues which I appreciated. He's a very competent surgeon and did a great job on mine. The staff was friendly and efficient. I would highly recommend him for any general surgery
Dr Gelber takes care of my needs without hesitation. Very nice but quiet. The staff in the office are friendly .
