Dr. Vanderweide is an amazing Orthopedic Surgeon...a wizard or magician if you will. I've had a 33 year military career, so needless to say my knees are junk...I had 3 previous knee arthroscopies on both knees combined; Dr. V was the 4th. I recovered well from each one, but with Dr. V, I had minimal post-op pain and swelling, and the shortest recovery time compared to the previous 3. The human element that Dr. V brings to his practice is unparalleled. eled, just a "down to Earth" good guy that cares about his patients!
He diagnosed rotator cuff complete tear. Offered conservation treatment other PT which I filled. After several month and continued pain I elected surgery. Dr V took the time to explain, in depth, the surgical repair and post op care. It was as he explained. I received more information from him than I did for hospital staff after my procedure. Fantastic care!!
Excellent Doctor willing to spend time answering questions, really a nice friendly person.
He listened and asked questions about my pain/complaints. He suggested relevant testing and having all the tests done at the hospital in the same building made things extremely easy and efficient.
