Not a good experience for me. I did not feel welcome from the moment I walked in the office. Was not happy with medication she prescribed. Felt it was extreme for my condition. Office staff unhelpful and I did not feel they were genuinely listening during office calls. Bad rapport. I never met with Dr Friedman, and due to negative interaction with staff, I cancelled my final appointment.
Called three times, no live person answers and no one returned my calls for an appointment.
Dr. never ever available to answer a question about a child, with incorrect information disseminated by incompetent office manager and shot administrators, very rude demeanor.
Extremely knowledgeable physician about the complex world of allergies. Recommends natural, practical treatments as well as medications and shots (if needed). Staff is happy, helpful, and accommodating.
From the front office back I have had nothing but a stellar patient experience! After an abysmal and exceedingly unprofessional go around with a CVID specialist at Banner Tucson I was desperate to find a new immunologist. AAP's front office Angel, Judy, listened to my tale of woe and had me seen the morning after I called. Their office staff has gone to hell and back with me thru insurance coverage idiocies, every last one of them like a terrier with a bone- determined to find a provider for
This physician reads and shares current medical research papers with me. He has expertise in immunology, which of course is important for the treatment of allergies.
My first question to the intake appointment person, Ian was lets go over my insurance, do you take it United Heath Care Medicare: Yes. 30 minutes before my appointment Ian called to be told the corp office says my insurance is out of net-work higher co-pa, disappointed yet that I could do. When I called back to confirm, Judy says my insurance was not taken at all. I cancelled, I am angry with the time wasted because of their staff incompetence. Don?t bother with this group and it's mismanaged.
Patient concern, knowledge base, treatment options, all exceptional. I would strongly recommend.
