I was referred to Dr. Cortese by Dr. Bear, and I am glad I found him. He did an MRI first and found that I had both rotator cuffs torn. He has helped me a lot, and I appreciate his kindness. I am thankful that he is my Dr.

I have been a patient of Dr Lance Bear for a long time and was referred to Dr Cortese due to Bear's stepping back from daily practice. I got an appt very quickly. The day I called was a Thurs and Mon I was in the office. Xrays were taken and Dr Cortese came in moments later to discuss them. I found him to be all business while still pleasant. He explained my knee issue very well and advised some excersises and more gentle walking. I am improved 4 days later. I defintley recommend him.

This man is rude, condescending, dismissive and negligent. Please look further for proper care. He said that there was nothing wrong with my shoulder based on the MRI he viewed. Second opinion 2 months later said that there should have been an MRI with contrast ordered in order to accurately diagnose. I have had a previous surgery 10 years ago. New MRI showed severe rotator tear along with 3 additional moderate tears. Gee… guess there really was a reason for all of my pain. I get that no physician catches everything, but you... read more
