Dr Camarata worked very hard to make a difficult surgery and post op turn out as best as possible. We appreciate all that he did for our Mom.
In 2012, Dr. Camarata was one of the only physicians willing to do both knees at the same time. I was one of the first patients at the hospital set up just for ortho surgery. Seven years later, at 75, I was able to climb hundreds of crazy steps at Petra in Jordan, step through difficult terrain in the Galapagos, and so thankful that I can look back and remember that I could barely walk a block without intense pain just 7 years ago. I recently had a total knee replacement with Dr. Camarata. My entire experience was very good. His team makes themselves available during the pre and post op process. Cathy always answered her phone when I called: she was very helpful in ironing out problematic issues. Derek too helped smooth some rough edges. Jamie and Beth were a delight. Update on my last review: I am having surgery on Friday the 3rd 2018 and I was given a treatment called Iovera by PA Christopher Lang. One word, WOW!!!! I have absolutely no pain and I can walk without a limp. This surgery can not get her fast enough. Thanks again to all the INCREDIBLE staff at Ortho Arizona. Dr. Camarata has replaced both of my knees..........both have been VERY successful............back to hiking, golf, playing with my grandchildren........very, very pleased with the outcomes.
