Honesty, professional and caring team of doctors, nurses and staff are unfailingly considerate as well as A+ competent. The setting is striking in that you are met by complimentary valet parking when you drive up to the office building in the Winter Park Mall. Inside is contemporary medical with all of the latest technology and excellent staff. A good administrative system means little waiting and one phone number for questions at any time of day. A call back is prompt. It's the same phone number for scheduling appointments.

I have been seeing Dr. Molthrop for about 10 years. First with Polycythemia and then Myelofibrosis. He and Allison, his PA are always so caring and encouraging. I never feel rushed and they always answer my questions. They coordinate my care with my doctor at the James Center at Ohio State University when I’m there for the summer. I hope he never retires or decides to leave. I would highly recommend him to anyone, especially if you are dealing with Myelofibrosis. He is so knowledgeable about this cancer of the blood. And, wa... read more

Dr Molthrop and his team saved my life. Diagnosed with late stage lymphoma at the age of 73 my early diagnosis was not encouraging. He immediately placed me on a 100% strength chemotherapy regimen and two extra nodal cancerous locations were gone and the third was greatly reduced after three treatments. We expect remission and likely cure after my upcoming PET scan. Dr. Molthrop, Allison (PA) and the nurses (Christi King) are just outstanding. Any out of hours concerns were timely addressed by his staff and even phone calls ... read more

Dr. Molthrop is an angel in disguise. He and Allison help to make the cancer journey just a little less scary. He and Allison are extremely knowledgeable, compassionate, humorous and above all caring. When I was ready to throw in the towel because my support system left me the two of them found the right words to encourage me to keep fighting. They are truly invested in their patient's care, not just physically but emotionally and mentally. I have been a patient since 2018. I was diagnosed with MBC. I credit Dr. Molthrop, Al... read more

This review is for the Molthrop team and all the fabulous lab techs and nurses at Florida Cancer Specialists in Winter Park. Cancer is serious. It's scary and depressing. Oncologist Dr. David Molthrop, his PA Allison, and his triage nurse Elizabeth all breathe fresh life into what feels like a hopeless situation. Knowledgeable, kind, funny... who knew you could smile again? They do this day in and day out and they know how to treat the soul just as well as the body. There is no stupid question and there is no side effect tha... read more

Dr. Molthrop treated me for approx 6 yrs over 20 yrs ago. I asked God to put me in the right hands & if he did, I would trust those hands & not second guess them. Mayo, Moffet & Sloan all wanted me to have (either) chemo, a splenectomy &/or a bone marrow transplant. Dr. Molthrop said “no way” each time. I never did chemo, transplant or remove my spleen. God has touched this man with a level of wisdom that I have yet to see matched. My 80yr old Mom is 3 yrs into remission TODAY because of him.
