I would strongly advise anyone going through a custody or divorce case to steer clear of Dr. Blackmon. From day one, he was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional in every interaction I had with him. It was very clear that he was biased against me from the start, and the final report he submitted was filled with false, misleading, and one-sided information that did not reflect the reality of the situation. We originally starting seeing Dr. Blackmon for my oldest son and then decided to add myself and my hubby in as well. We were extremely happy and will suggested him to anyone looking for a doctor.
I went to Dr. Blackmon a few years ago to be analyzed. I had strange behaviors such as overcleaning, severe anxiety and racing thoughts. Instead of sitting down with me and talking over these symptoms, which I was shy to display on the spot, he just shrugged them off. No professional behavior was ever shown. Never believe what a child says, right?
