I was Fortunate to work with Dr. Bortz's off of Orbelin dr. He was a great Doctor, Boss and Teacher. He was also my personal doctor.
I was a patient of Dr. Bortz for many years, until I left San Diego, in 2007. Dr. Bortz will always be my favorite doctor, and I have not been able to find a doctor of his caliber since. A doctor who really cared about his patients, and took time with them to find out what their illness where, and to find a treatment that would help improve their health. When I first met Dr. Bortz, I knew that had finally found the right doctor for me; a real doctor whom, not only knew about my headaches, and genetic conditions; he knew exactly what medicines would work best for me on my first visit. He’s the childhood doctor one dreams of having again. He’s a walking PDA! I mean this Dr. knows EVERYTHING about medicine, and some. He has been around a long time. Merci beaucoup, blessings!!!!

Dr Bortz has been my family's doctor for many years. He is an excellent diagnostician, very available to his patients, with a wealth of information and referral information if he cannot help you.
Dr. Bortz has been our family doctor for over 22 years and I am remiss in not having written a glowing report before. He is the only physician that could treat my daughter for behavioral health issues from an endless list of psychiatrist. He finds time to squeeze me in with my busy travel schedule. He and his staff treat me and my kids as if every visit were a house call. And the best part is he keeps us healthy and I know we will live longer and happier because we have him in our lives.
