Demeaning and dismissive if you’re not a surgical candidate. How ever would you know, right? Well, you wouldn’t until you see him and then he gives you attitude about it
I was extremely dissatisfied with my experience. As a workers’ compensation patient, I already understand that these providers receive a high volume of referrals, but that should never compromise patient care. I felt completely dismissed and was talked over throughout the entire appointment. Dr. Musante Represents a spine surgeon, who from my perspective got into the field and sub-specialized for the right reasons. I have a medical background as a McKenzie trained (spine specialty) PT. Dr. Musante was understandably, cautiously leaning 1 plan based on imaging upon entering the room. However, he was willing and able to receive additional information and in real time process, then alter and grow the plan of care. He gets right to what needs to get done for the back and explains what is possibly happening. Also makes sure you have conclusive evidence from proper imaging before making a final diagnosis and plan. Professional.
