The King and Queen of cancellations! I originally requested an appointment with Dr. Anderson but was told he was too booked, so I agreed to see NP Karen instead. She was also booked months out, but I scheduled the appointment and waited. When the appointment finally arrived, the office canceled and rescheduled it. I would follow this man to the ends of the earth. As someone with a complex health history I have been written off more times than I can count. Never have I left Dr. Anderson feeling unheard. He always takes the time to get deep into your history and works hard to find solutions. He’s extremely responsive through My Chart messages and always follows through with any meds far faster than I’ve experienced elsewhere. He’s one of the few that make sure your seen, heard, and truly helped. An absolute asset to the Wellstar system!
Excellent primary doctor! He listens and is very knowledgeable and solution oriented. I love that he doesn’t rush through my appointments allowing me to feel like a valued patient vs. just another person. I’ve referred several people to him and they all have had a similar experience. We need more doctors like this!
Very disappointing. My husband was scheduled 4 months prior to his appointment. We received notice 3 days before our appointment that Dr. Anderson would no longer be available and the next available appointment was 6 months out; to be seen by Dr. Anderson. It was important for my husband to be seen by an AA male physician. We understand the unexpected happens, but we’ll have to find an office/provider with better scheduling options- 6 months for the next appointment is ridiculous.
