.I have been going to Dr. Kramer for years and he is an excellent Doctor but his staff is rude. I needed a reauthorization for eye medicine and My Insurance goes through CVS Caremark(mail away). Every time I needed a reauthorization I have to jump through hoops but I was willing to overlook it because I like my Dr. but this time was the last straw. I went in to be evaluated for laser treatment for a large eye floater. I sent them an email explaining my issues and spoke at length on the phone with an office manager. I was told they take my insurance and that they do many laser treatments for floaters. The day of the appointment I get a brisk call saying they don't take my insurance for the initial visit. I showed up for my scheduled appointment only to be told that the doctor did not accept insurance. It was the same insurance I told them I had when I booked the appointment. Of course, I was presented with the option of seeing the doctor anyway, but at an out-of-pocket cost “beginning” at $275. Why a business would tell a patient it accepts a specific insurance plan when setting an appointment and then turn that patient away at the time of the appointment, after the patient has taken time off to

I have found Dr. Kramer to be exceptional in his professionalism, knowledge, and overall care. He is patient and takes the time to assure that you understand all aspects of your care and treatment. Having had an emergent situation with one of my eyes, Dr. Kramer was able to fit me in on the same day for evaluation and treatment. I highly recommend Dr. Kramer.

Cannot recommend. . Dr. Zeegan was my cataract surgeon. He recommended a premium lens replacement for my left eye cataract surgery that was supposed to replace contact lenses or glasses. This lens cost me $2000 extra. But Dr. Z failed to consider how my prior retinal detachment would prevent the lens from working properly. So AFTER I spent $2000 extra for this lens Dr. Z told me the damaged retina would prevent it from working. They did for me except charge me $175 for a contact lens Rx!

I have been a patient of Dr Aizuss for over 10 years. He has invariably been, patient, prompt and extremely knowledgeable and efficient in solving my visual problems . I have great confidence in his skills and ability.

I am a recent transplant from NY to LA & my cousin referred me to Dr. Aizuss. I always had the good fortune of having a good ophthalmologist in NY, but now I have a great ophthalmologist. The staff who do the preliminary testing are friendly & very professional. As for Dr. Aizuss, he is warm, friendly, easy to talk to, explains everything clearly, & he is also a terrific surgeon. He referred me to a superb retina specialist when I needed one. Dr. Aizuss is the best.

Dr. Aizuss has been my doctor for over 20 years. I recently had cataract surgery in both eyes and have been so pleased with his skill, aftercare, responsiveness to my many questions, and general caring. Recommend him highly.
