I felt safe in his care. Surgery went well. Recovery was good. Excellent care.

I was impressed with Dr Kumar from my first visit - he had prepared by reviewing my images and case before entering my exam. Very Rare. Conservative and realistic about the issues in my back, I trusted him with my surgery and am very happy with his care and my result.
I first saw Dr Menendez in May, 2025, and was scheduled to see him again in July On the morning of my appt, they canceled on me, due to an emergency surgery, understandable. Made another appt for Aug. He's running behind, and I'm coming from 3 hrs away. I know doctors are busy, but you start to feel like you're just jerked around. Doctors would not stand to be treated the way most treat their patients. CORE is definitely a VOLUME business... their waiting room looked like an auditorium.

He is a excellent doctor, I had some problems, but they are on top of it and working to get it fixed. Have no complaints.
Each visit you’re left waiting for 2+ hours, no regard, no apology, no consideration or respect. Extremely disappointed in his bedside manners, he offers nothing except surgery, don’t read reports, can’t keep track of requests and reports and imagining received. His office literally treats patients like they don’t matter. I saw Dr Willis about 23 years ago for a Cervical 6-7 fusion. HE WAS PHENOMENAL!!! HE IS PLATINUM especially re: HIS BED SIDE MANNERS!!! I had 2 spine surgeries @ Barrows and Dr Willis was WAY ABOVE them!!! I now need help again re: my C 3-5. I'm going to a neurologist tomorrow to hopefully be referred back to Dr. Willis! DR WILLIS IS THE VERY BEST IN AZ!!!
I have had 2 different surgeries. The outcomes have been great. Dr Kumar always explains the pros and cons to any treatment he provides. He’s the best!
