I only gave four stars because everybody can improve. That said my experience with Dr. Straus was outstanding. I went to him for a second opinion on a nagging heart issue. It was obvious that Dr. Strauss had taken the time to understand my condition from the tests in my record. In that time, he diagnosed my condition and Diagnose my condition rapidly, and advise me in a candid and understandable way. I immediately felt that he was on my side and ready to help me in anyway he or his team could. Outstanding is all I Can say
I had an atrial ablasion last week. Staff is phenomenal. They were caring, and considerate to me and my wife. Dr. Strouse has awesome energy, he is engaging, informative and professional. Easy to talk to, he simply puts you at ease and has a genuine persona. My procedure went well and he ensured everything was understood beforehand. His sincerity and assuring demeanor create a sense of calm which my family appreciates.
The technician read my ECG, and said everything looked good. I never did meet Dr Strause, so maybe next year?
I've been seeing Dr. Strouse now for a little over 14 years for AFib. He has performed two ablations, both of which went very well. He has a wonderful bedside manner. He takes the time to listen to my treatment goals, and to explain in depth the procedures he recommends. He keeps very current with all the new electrophysiology tech. and partners with Medstar Washington Hospital Center, which is highly regarded in cardiology and electrophysiology.
