I made an appointment on a recommendation and he was professional took the time to listen. My issues were immediately addressed and my foot feels better than it has in a year. I would highly recommend his practice. His staff was also very helpful.

Excellent care! Very pleasant doctor & staff. Dr. Scalzo is very personable, explaining everything very thoroughly, answers any questions and concerns you may have. Both my mother and I see him. My mother had a very bad infection on her toe (that she saw a different doctor for, for about 2 years with repeated recurrences) and I brought her to Dr. Scalzo for treatment. Dr. Scalzo had her infection cleared up in one month, then straightened her arthirtic toes so infection would stop occurring.

I am currently seeing Dr. Scalzo for diabetic foot care. As a newly diagnosed diabetic I had a lot of concerns and questions about the foot complications that arise from having diabetes. He explained in detail what can happen if I do not keep my blood sugar in control and taught me the proper way to examine my feet so I do not develop any ulcers in the future. He painlessly trims my nails and removes my calluses. He is a great guy with a great staff.

Dr. Scalzo reconstructed my entire right foot back in 2012 and if not for his knowledge and abilities as a surgeon I would not be pain free today. I continue to see him to this day for routine visits and if ever in the future I needed another surgery I would not hesitate to schedule one in his very capable hands. The staff is courteous, friendly and well trained in each of their job duties.

For whatever it is worth, he is extremely pleasant and friendly. For routine foot care, he is very competent. Where he fails is in performing surgery. Her had to operate twice on my foot and has left me with a mangled and disfigured big toe! I definitely would not recommend him for any type of surgery!
