I received lower back surgery from Dr. Hanscom several years ago. I had an extremely painful spinal disc herniation that had left my lower left leg paralyzed and extensive cramping in my buttocks. It was unbearable. To this day I am pain free. I am incredibly grateful to Dr. Hanscom for his help. He also gave me his book "Back in Control". Although I needed emergency surgery in that case, the book has helped in other ways, not only with physical pain.
