There was a clerical error with my husband's job that allowed us to briefly have Kaiser Insurance. I picked Dr Eckland because of his reviews, even though his office was very far from us (1.5 hours). He went out of his way to try and help us find a location near us. He personally called to give me updates. Amazing! We ended up not being eligible for Kaiser. If we ever are, I know who my kids Ped will be.
He's absolutely wonderful. Considerate, patient, gentle, funny and is always a pleasure to be around. I can't rave enough about him. He's very knowledgeable and understanding of parents (especially new moms). My son will see Dr. Ecklund until he's too grown to :-)
Great Doctor, it's too bad I'm 22 and MUST change out of pediatrics. I would keep him as my primary physician if I could, but they are telling me I must change. I've never had a better doctor, always promoting good life choices, and always knew what I needed for urgent appointments. Never over prescribed or under cared. Always professional and really cared. I recommend to anybody who wants a sure doctor.
