I took my 6.2 LS3 block to Daves performance engineering for machine work, AND ASSEMBLY on a bare block and rotating assembly only. On April 21st. This WAS NOT a rush job. I called ONE TIME to follow up around the 3 week mark. On June 14th he called and let me know they are assembling it on the 16th he called me to let me know it was ready. I pick it up, it was bagged and from what I could see it looked good. absolutely horrible. speechless really. spent thousands of dollars to get a LS block machined and built supplied with all the components and recived it back and it was just a shit show. didn’t clean up the block found metal shaving everywhere. supplied a oil pump sprocket and he didn’t even put it on and put the old one on and didn’t even give me the new one back. cylinder walls are all scored cause they didn’t file down the piston rings just absolutely horrible non quality work and i don’t feel comfortable putting this bloc... read more

Hes building me a ls2 .... Price is right! I have faith in his abilities..lol ( 1 year later ) engine is fantastic! Very strong, solid, and smooth. Better than factory! 05 GTO. Thanks.
