Baked oyster sampler was great! It would be hard to pick just one next time.
We ate there twice this week. The oysters were the bomb...fresh and salty when raw. The steamed were just a little spicy, but still good. The Mahi-Mahi was just right. I had the shrimp D'val...IMHO, not the great. The sauce had a peculiar taste and the rice was glumly...but the shrimp were great. The steamed shrimp the second visit were very good and fried catfish was cooked to perfection. We'll be back next May.
Fresh and awesome oysters...highly recommend... Had the crab claws too. Excellent as well. Great service. Great experience
There was three of us dinning last night. We had about a 15 minute wait around 730 pm. The food was excellent. The raw oysters were so good. Best in town in my opinion without going to the beach. We come often. Our guest like it as well and he loved the Berry Bread pudding.
Best place for oysters! Dave's has the best baked/nude oysters anywhere!
I would have loved to try the food, but our table was ignored for at least five minutes after we were seated tonight, so we left. No one acknowledged us at all.
The server seemed in a big rush even though the restaurant wasn't busy. Can't even remember the entree.
So many way ma to eat the oysters there and I'll try them all soon enough. Also, try the mullet. It's amazing.
Arrived at 8:20. Hostess said the restaurant closed at 8:45. Advertised hours are till 9 for closing. The hostess had no interest at all getting us on a wait. If you plan to go call and check what hours they chose for that day. Don't assume that the open sign in the window means anything.
