I love this store. I got back into shooting after a 40 year absence due to life, raising kids, building a business...and from the moment I walked in I knew I was "home." Do your research on the gun(s) you want, but when it comes to buying, do it here. You'll not only get the gun, but you'll get the service to back it up and the advise you might need in setting it up. They also have a great gunsmith for any problems you incur or changes you may want. We're fortunate to have Dave and the guys in our area!! Buy here!
I've known Dave a long time and he's honest and you can trust his advice on firearm choice. When guns and ammo were scarce Dave refused to do price gouging. Good honest people you can trust.

Dave is the best, bought several guns and waiting for others to come in. The real draw to the shop other than the friendliness is GUS, he's the greatest dog!!!
Been going to Dave's for about 8 years. Grear guns, good deals. Really large selection. And since he added on to the shop, has a lot more space. Of course Dave is not the star attraction. That spot goes to Gustav the wonder dog. A yellow Labrador, he's gettin old but if he likes you, he'll wag his tail. Anyway, I buy most of my guns from Dave and he is fair. So there ya go. He does have pretty much the largest selection of guns in the Champaign-Urbana area.
